At the drop of an apple Canadians are up for a good apple festival.

• Take in the annual UBC Apple Festival October 18 and 19 in Vancouver, B.C. ,and taste up to 60 varieties of new and heritage apples grown in British Columbia.

• Check out the Creemore Apple Festival in Ontario, Saturday September 20, 2008 from 8:30 to 12:30. If you are interested in discovering the apple's roots visit the Apple Capital Museum in Berwick, N.S.
