orange-chocolate-frosting.jpgIngredients
2⁄3 cup + 1⁄2 cup butter, divided
2 oranges
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1⁄2 cup milk chocolate

Cooking instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter an 8 x 12-inch cake pan and sprinkle with a few pinches of flour. Set aside. Heat 2/3 cup butter until it is melted and lukewarm. Set aside. Grate the peel of one orange and juice both oranges; you should have 2/3 cup juice. Reserve.

Whisk eggs and sugar in a medium bowl until mixture is foamy. Add melted butter, orange peel and juice. Stir flour with baking powder and vanilla sugar in a separate bowl and add to the batter. Pour batter into pan and bake on middle rack of oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cake cool completely. For the icing, melt remaining 1/2 cup butter with milk chocolate in a small bowl. Spread chocolate mixture over cake a little at time. Let the cake rest until the icing hardens, then cut into squares and serve.
