White hot mocha
Ingredients
1 vanilla bean
3 cups whole milk
1 cup 35% cream
4 oz best-quality white chocolate, chopped
3⁄4 cup brewed espresso coffee
2 oz brandy
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings
Cooking instructions:
- Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- Combine the vanilla bean pod, vanilla seeds, milk and cream together in a stainless-steel saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Remove saucepan from heat and whisk in white chocolate, espresso and brandy.
- Remove vanilla bean pod. Pour mixture into warm mugs and top with a dollop of fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
