Chef Bruce Thorne's Pasta Natasha

Chef Bruce Thorne of Gananoque's Trinity House Inn shares his Pasta Natasha recipe.

Pasta Natasha

Ingredients
1 ½ tsp- chopped garlic
¼ cup olive oil
1 yellow pepper small diced
½ bunch chopped leek
½ board smoked salmon
750ml 35% whipping cream
¼ cup flour
juice of 1-1/2 lemons
1 tsp nutmeg
¼ cup parmesan cheese
½ frozen cocktail shrimp

Cooking Instructions
• Heat half of the olive oil and sauté leek, garlic, and yellow peppers till tender.
• Add lemon juice and smoked salmon to sautéed.
• Once the smoked salmon is cooked and the lemon juice has almost evaporated add the flour.
• Add cream once the flour as been mixed through.
• Add parmesan cheese, nutmeg and shrimp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
• Serve over linguini.

Makes 8 servings
