Brighten your Easter table with colourful cookies

Prepare these easy-to-make treats to package up as gifts or to serve at your family gathering

Ingredients

  • 4 cups icing sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 3-5 drops food colouring (if desired)


Preparation

Beat all ingredients together until well blended.

Easter glazed icing

Ingredients
  • 1¼ cups icing sugar
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-2 drops food colouring

Preparation
Beat all ingredients together until well blended. For a thicker glaze, add more icing sugar.
