Anyone who's ever collected (be it baseball cards as a kid or pressed glass as an adult) knows how addictive the hobby can be. The reasons for collecting are wide-ranging: some people feel compelled to complete a collection gifted to them from a relative while others see financial gain. Some people collect without even knowing they do; think of all those sea shells now filling a glass bowl or those vintage record albums framed in the recreation room.
