Meet me at the Style at Home Showby Erin McLaughlin |

How long does it take to decorate a house? One month? One year? Try one day! I’m sitting in the show office at the Style at Home show, set to open on Friday October 17th at the Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto. Outside the office, there’s a flurry of activity as people are madly trying to get their booths together.
The Canadian Home & Country booth, which we’ve christened “Make it Country,” is under construction. At 11 a.m. the walls went up; two hours later and we’re starting to decorate. Over the next 24 hours, the design team of Canadian Home & Country will be creating an “instant” room.
The design team is mobilized and ready to go. Our deadline is 7 p.m. Thursday October 16th, when one of our favourite photographers, Donna Griffith, will be coming to shoot the booth. I promise to take behind-the-scenes photos to share! Until next time…

Hi Erin,
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how great the Home & Country booth looked! I worked all weekend at the show and heard lots of great feedback about the space. Great design, great colour palette, great decor ideas! Congrats to the Home & Country team on a job well done!

Hi Erin, my wife as started he first LEED home project on her own. We love what you do when it comes to “Style”. We wanted to ask you if you would know anyone who would like to “style” our model home and in return they company or busiess would receive huge exclusive exposure during the open house. We are a small builder but we are one of the sponsors on the LEED Homes for Canada website. The company would be able to advertise their products and have a sales person on site to answer any questions. We will have the media come around and do one on interviews. (Time frame: open house hopefully February 2009).
Thanks for your support
